Layout requirements
Any format and
any outline are possible, without any extra charge!
- Component Pad Annular ring > 0.2mm
Via Pad Annular ring > 0.15mm
( Annular ring = The pad area that remains after a hole is drilled through the pad.The value denotes the distance from the edge of drill to the edge of the copper pad), at minimum track size / gap dimensions.
- Soldermask > 0.075mm (Increase soldermask by a minimum of 0.075mm per side) (0.15 mm in total) to ensure no soldermask on pads)
- Multilayer inner layers > 0.35 mm
(please ensure there is a minimum distance of 0.35mm from edge of drill to copper on inner layers, positive and negative)
- Standard: smallest Drill-end diameter = 0.3 mm (12mil)
- Optional: smallest Drill-end diameter = 0.2 mm (8mil) extra charge
Track/Gap
Singlesided pcbs:
- Standard: minimum track size = 0.15mm (6mil)
- Optional: minimum track size = 0.125mm (5mil) extra charge
- Standard: minimum gap size = 0.15mm (6mil)
- Optional: minimum gap size = 0.125mm (5mil) extra charge
Doublesided / 4 & 6 layer pcbs:
- Standard: minimum track size = 0.15mm (6mil)
- Optional: minimum track size = 0.125mm (5mil) extra charge
- Standard: minimum gap size = 0.15 mm (6mil)
- Optional: minimum gap size = 0.125mm (5mil) extra charge
Area
The minimum surface area required for an individual PCB order is 16 inches˛. Printed circuit boards with a surface area smaller than 1dm˛ are invoiced at the 16 inches˛ price. Several small PCBs can be stepped up on a multipanel, in order to reach the minimum surface area of 16 inches˛. Such a multipanel may only have 1 contour/board edge!
We will provide you with single pieces for a flat rate Rout Charge of only USD 10.00 incl. VAT (Please note: any drills with a diameter of 6mm or more will be considered as internal cut- outs and subject to the same Rout Charge).
The multipanel set-up is done for you by our team - free of charge!
All prices quoted are inclusive of Photoplot (not supplied) and all Tooling charges!
Soldermask
Solder resist is a green covering in which clearances are made for solder areas (e.g. pads) and for SMD connectors.
These are therefore kept free from tinning in the soldering process. Applying soldermask means that tinning is applied more economically (so that flooding does not occur) and notably, the risk of shorting in finely structured boards is kept to a minimum. Also, soldermask results in greater air gaps between tracks. Last but not least, solder resist gives your board a more professional looking finish.
We use only photosensitive solder resist, applied either in liquid form or as a foil through a vacuum laminating process.
Soldermask flat rate (independent of size) charge USD 14.50 per side for singlesided and doublesided pcbs. If the soldermask on top and bottom layers are the same (i.e. no SMD's) USD 14.50 will only be charged once.
For 4-layer & 6-layer pcbs the soldermask is included in price.
Position print
Position print is white and can be printed on either or both sides (TOP and BOTTOM).
So as not to cover any pads, the position print in PCB-POOL® is clipped away from corresponding soldermask pads by 0.1mm(4mil). If you wish to order silkscreen, please note, that a correct adhesion in accordance with IPC standard is only guaranteed, if you choose the soldermask option.
Flat rate charge for position print USD 14.50 for singelsided, doublesided and 4-layer multilayer pcbs (independent of size).
Attention: Unless otherwise stated layers where an eagle file is in question layers 21 and 25 will be used to generate the position print.
E-Test
With electrical testing, all tracks are checked for breaks and shorting. Until now, e-testing of PCBs using a needle adapter or a flying probe was exorbitantly priced. Thanks to PCB POOL
® these costs have been dramatically reduced!
